The first known people to set foot on Russian territory were called the Cimmerians. They ruled between 1000 and 700 BCE and were followed by the Scythians in 700 BCE. The Scythian nomads established a military state and defeated the Persians, but were nonetheless conquered by the Sarmatians in 3 BCE.

The Bolsheviks ultimately became the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. The Bolsheviks, or Reds, came to power in Russia during the October Revolution phase of the 1917 Russian Revolution, and founded the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (RSFSR)

The Mensheviks were a faction of the Marxist Russian Social Democratic Labour Party (RSDLP) which split with Vladimir Lenin’s Bolshevik faction at the Second Party Congress in 1903.

The “original people” of Russia are a diverse group of indigenous peoples, including the Finno-Ugric, Siberian, and Turkic peoples, who have inhabited the region for millennia, with some groups like the Nenets and Evenkis maintaining nomadic or semi-nomadic lifestyles.

I would say I’m Cimmerian. Excellent. Or in my lineage.
