I’d really appreciate it if you don’t try to be clever and even use ‘Ruth Emma’ out there publicly. Though mine is actually Emma Ruth. It’s like saying you’re Charles Keanu or Jean Tara or Jessica Sara Parker or Ann Lee Womack. I mean why are you tryna to CHEAT your way into Stardom? Don’t be clever. Don’t be a liar. And stop touching my damn name. I know you’re obsessed with me and hate me something fierce, but really…. cease and desist from touching my damn name, you silly cats

kiddos in my charge

Out of all the kiddos I ever met when they are still under the age of 4, Tara Jean always stands out. Not only a Princess but an angel.

Out of all the filipino girls I met in NYC, the cutest is always Maybelline. I used to tell her to smile because she has dimples. That’s her nickname – “Dimples”.

All my younger cousins on my Mom’s side were all quite exceptional, especially Ditchie, Lili, Lilibet, Armie and Emy. They were so adorable when they are little and ever so bright. Ditchie has always been my little sister when I met her when she is about 2 or 3. She is so pretty when she’s little. A town beauty in Tanjay.

My younger brother is always good. Never bad nor naughty, even to this day. I’m also fond of my brothers from another mother – Chris Pae and Cris “Boyette” Zabala. So fond of them. Woogon, Vinney, Chris Beganskis, Chris D’Amico and Kris’ friends from Regis and Tufts are all exceptional gentlemen and good kiddos which is a testament to their wonderful parents.

My nieces and nephews, including the B Boys in Cali are all wonderful and their parents, my cousins should be pleased with how they turned out.

The Gen Y lad in my charge. I had always hoped that my Father would make sure He’s always provided for and given similar opportunities for learning and enrichment that my younger Kris and my ex Gamino also have. And I was concerned that his ideas about love and marriage may have been askew because of me. That’s why I have a strict hands-off policy with those younger than me. I hoped I did more good than harm, and hopefully verra little if extant toxicity.

We did a lot of work with the “Alyssa” name and now there are several luminaries with that name and are admirable, laudable and good role models for their own peers and generations.

I dunno which ones were the bad ones among the lisses, but a few of them thought of me as the older sister they wished they had or at least a mama they hated. But quests complete.
