Doctor Appointment

I just had my doctor appointment. ZOOM meeting. For those just tuning in, I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in April of 2004. I’ve been in and out of rehab and hospitals ever since. I must’ve been in and out close to 10 times. I had a psychotic break with reality. I have issues with mania and psychosis. I used to have generalized anxiety disorder, but those symptoms abated over five years ago. I have an imbalance of the chemicals serotonin and dopamine.

I take an atypical anti-psychotic – Olazapine. This is the medication I should have been on from the verra start. It’s kept most of my symptoms dormant and allows me to sleep thru the night. However I’ve gained a lot of weight in the last four years. Perhaps it’s because of my medication regimen.

We’re gonna explore other options, including re-introducing a mood stabilizer. I have to look up Lamictal and see if this could be a viable option. No, I don’t want seroquel. It’s for those with schizoid symptoms. I don’t want ‘schizophrenia.’ That’s so hard to treat.

Well I doubt I’m ever returning to livejournal or any other social platform ever again, now that I have my own domain.

Was it about being ‘Academy’, Debs?

I dunno how The Academy is going to work it out, but my choice for inductees/honorees are Anna and Jacqueline Tuttolomondo. They exemplify the Dominican Academy tenets and ‘spirit.’

Most of you are already part of St. Aloysius Academy, especially at World Trade.

Debs, you’re a bit predatory when it comes to those younger than you. I would never trust you around my own kiddos. And please do not adopt kiddos from the Philippines. Adopt from Puerto Rico.

I dunno why you wanted me to experience the difficulties you had while you were still in town. About you dating younger guys, you having VD “The Clap”, being poor and living in squalid conditions, mental illness, drug addiction, broken families. I mean, Debs, two wrongs don’t make a right. Moreover, I haven’t seen you in over 3 decades, so why are you hating on me now? I mean why do you want someone to go through the same shit you did?

We’re grown now, Debs. Yes, you’re involved with Native American Indians, but they aren’t as vindictive as you seem to be. I suppose that it bothered you more than I thought when we were still kiddos. It bothered you that your friends/family weren’t going thru the hard times you were. Even so, Debs, don’t wish ill on others out of spite and envy. Try to wish others well, especially when it feels too hard to do so.

There’s a code of conduct, Debs, and if you violate it, penalties will be applied. You’ll be banned and locked out of worlds and realms as well. We may even make you forget.
